The MatzohBall 5K is an annual race held at Centennial Park that benefits both the Temple Isaiah community and local charitable organizations.
In order to provide a safe environment while still maintaining the community spirit of the MatzohBall Run, this year’s 16th Annual 5K Run & 1 Mile Family Fun Run will be a “virtual event” that will run from Sunday June 7 at 9am – Sunday June 14 at 5pm.
How does a virtual run work? It’s simple! You can run/walk a 5K or mile walk anywhere in your local neighborhood, on your treadmill at home, or at any appropriate location. All we ask is that you maintain a safe physical distance from others. If you want, you can even track your run with a FitBit, AppleWatch, or other fitness app (Strava, MapMyRun, etc.) and you will be able to upload your time. You can register for the virtual event here. Registration is free! Upload your photos, course maps, etc. as you train or run in the event to our MatzohBall Facebook or Twitter Page— please be sure to tag them with #VirtualMatzohBall.
We welcome donations of any amount, and proceeds will still benefit TI and our charitable partners. They need our support now more than ever! Please click here to make your 2020 MatzohBall donation.
