Shabbat can provide a special moment of calm in an otherwise hectic week. However you celebrate Shabbat, you may find great meaning in the tradition of blessing your children on Friday night.
We welcome families with young children to join us at any Shabbat service, but we do also provide some worship opportunities specifically with our youngest congregants in mind:
Services on the fourth Friday of each month begin at 7pm, and are especially appropriate for families with primary-school aged children. The Torah service and sermon are replaced with a story.
All are welcome to join us as we celebrate Shabbat with a fun, meaningful, and age-appropriate service full of stories and songs, meeting the 2nd Saturday of the month year-around, at 10:30am. The service is geared toward kids 5 and under, though older siblings are always welcome. The service will be followed by a snack and outdoor fun or a craft, plus plenty of time for parent schmoozing.
