Summer is in full swing here at Temple Isaiah Preschool’s Summer Fun Club. This half-day camp experience for our preschoolers is filled with lots of water play, including sprinklers, water tables, and washing our toy cars! Each week has a special theme created by our TIPS Teachers. We had a parade with student-made American flags during our Red, White, & Blue week, made lemonade from scratch using a juicer during Fruit Week, searched for seashells in our sandbox during Beach Week, and created art using golf balls during Sports Week! We’re looking forward to exploring bugs, fish, and camping in the final few weeks of camp.
While our campers are outside having fun, we have been making updates to our classrooms in preparation for the new school year. Each classroom and both the preschool and Kulanu hallways have been given a fresh coat of paint, with new colors, and the floors will be cleaned and waxed before the teachers come back in August. In addition to the physical updates, supplies have been ordered and we’re busy planning field trips and special events.
We still have a few spaces in our classes for the upcoming year, if you or a friend are looking for an amazing preschool. Please have them visit our website, tipreschool.org, and contact our Director for Early Childhood Education, Allison Weil, using the Contact Form on the website (choose Preschool from the drop-down menu.) Tours occur throughout the summer. We also have spaces available in our TIPS for Tots program, which is for children ages 12–30 months who attend with a parent/caregiver.
We are eagerly looking forward to a wonderful new school year!
