The Jewish Leadership Council Teen Philanthropy Team is working to raise $12,000 (goal), $15,000 (stretch), or $18,000 (dream) for the following three organizations:
- The Grassroots Day Resource Center, an organization that provides hot meals, showers, laundry, and more to individuals who are homeless, housing insecure, or otherwise in need.
- The FIDF (Friends of the Israeli Defense Forces) is the main organization authorized to collect charitable donations on behalf of the IDF soldiers from within the United States, with 100% of emergency funds going directly to support IDF’s soldiers’ urgent humanitarian needs.
- The Dirt Therapy Project is dedicated to helping veterans heal from their wartime experiences through mountain biking, by providing veterans with mountain bikes, gear, and group rides, thereby opening up outdoor exercise as a coping opportunity.
The current total that they’ve raised is $21,001, in 84 gifts, and have officially hit their dream goal!
